My granddaughter has waited patiently for me to crochet a scarf and hat for her to wear this winter. She asked if she could pick out her own color of yarn, which, as you might guess, was not in my enormous yarn stash. She’s only 4 years old and her favorite color is pink followed by all of the colors found in the movie Frozen. Since it never gets unusually cold here in Central Florida, I used an open stitch pattern so that the fabric would be light and airy instead of thick and dense. To make it simple, I used a J size crochet hook for the scarf, ear warmers, and flower. The scarf set, Crochet Pinkytoes Scarf and Ear Warmer, is named for the color of the yarn, Pinkytoes−Hobby Lobby’s brand I Love This Yarn!. Any brand of worsted weight yarn will work.
